This is a scripture comparison of NASB and KJV Bible passages, showing that the NASB was not properly translated. This is just a sample of the many verses in the NASB that change the Word of God dealing with the virgin birth of Christ, the deity of Christ, the infallibility of the Bible, salvation by faith, the Trinity, and many other areas of importance to the Christian Faith. While the NASB doesn't altogether do away with the subject of the deity of Christ, it attempts to downgrade it. Many verses are completely eliminated. Verses have been changed in every book. This is just a small sample of those verses. The NASB along with numerous other modern translations, is a product of Catholicism, endeavoring to corrupt the Bible of fundamental Bible believing Protestants, and to insert their own corrupt doctrines.

The Diety of Christ and His Kingdom

Matthew 6:13 KJV "And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen." NASB puts the last two phrases in brackets and says they are not in the oldest and best texts (which are the Catholic corrupted texts out of Alexandria Egypt). It's a lie that cannot be proven; in fact the opposite is easily proven. Many verses are done this way.

Matthew 6:33 KJV "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." NASB "But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added to you."

Matthew 8:29 KJV "And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time?" NASB "And behold, they cried out, saying, "What do we have to do with You, Son of God? Have You come here to torment us before the time?"" NASB leaves out the word 'Jesus.' Where is Jesus?

Matthew 9:18 KJV "While he spake these things unto them, behold, there came a certain ruler, and worshipped him, saying, My daughter is even now dead: but come and lay thy hand upon her, and she shall live." NASB "While He was saying these things to them, behold, there came a synagogue official, and bowed down before Him, saying, "My daughter has just died; but come and lay Your hand on her, and she will live."" The NASB changes 'Worshipped Him' to 'Bowed down before him'. Bowing down is not worship. You bow to the Queen of England in respect without worshipping her. If you don't want to admit Jesus is God, then you can't admit worship of Him.

A few more similar verses:

Matthew 20:20 KJV "Then came to him the mother of Zebedee's children with her sons, worshipping him, and desiring a certain thing of him." NASB "Then the mother of the sons of Zebedee came to Him with her sons, bowing down, and making a request of Him." The NASB changes 'worshipped him' to 'bowed down before him.'

Mark 5:6 KJV "But when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshipped him," NASB "And seeing Jesus from a distance, he ran up and bowed down before Him;" The NASB changes 'worshipped him' to bowed down before him.'

Matthew 4: 40 says 'Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.' Jesus accepted worship and admitted He was God! In Revelation 22:8-9 KJV "And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which showed me these things. {9} Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God." NASB "And I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. And when I heard and saw, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who showed me these things. {9} And he said to me, "Do not do that; I am a fellow servant of yours and of your brethren the prophets and of those who heed the words of this book; worship God."" John did not accept worship.

Acts 10:25-26 KJV "And as Peter was coming in, Cornelius met him, and fell down at his feet, and worshipped him. {26} But Peter took him up, saying, Stand up; I myself also am a man." NASB "And when it came about that Peter entered, Cornelius met him, and fell at his feet and worshiped him. {26} But Peter raised him up, saying, "Stand up; I too am just a man."" Peter did not accept worship. Jesus did because He is God.

Matthew 13:51 KJV "Jesus saith unto them, Have ye understood all these things? They say unto Him, Yea, Lord." NASB ""Have you understood all these things?" They said to Him, "Yes."" NASB leaves out 'Jesus saith unto them' and 'Lord.' This is trying to do away with the divinity of Jesus and His Lordship.

Matthew 16:20 KJV "Then charged He his disciples that they should tell no man that He was Jesus the Christ." NASB "Then He warned the disciples that they should tell no one that He was the Christ." NASB leaves out "Jesus," as it does in numerous verses.

Matthew 20:20 KJV "Then came to him the mother of Zebedee's children with her sons, worshipping him. ." NASB "Then the mother of the sons of Zebedee came to Him with her sons, bowing down, and making a request of Him." NASB again changes "worshipping" to "kneeling down."

Matthew 25:13 KJV "Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh." NASB ""Be on the alert then, for you do not know the day nor the hour." NASB leaves out "wherein the Son of man cometh."

Mark 1:14 KJV "Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God." NASB "And after John had been taken into custody, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of God," NASB leaves out 'of the kingdom'. It isn't the gospel of God, but of the kingdom of God.

Mark 5:6 KJV "But when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshipped him," NASB "And seeing Jesus from a distance, he ran up and bowed down before Him;" NASB changes "worshipped" to "fell on his knees."

Mark 9:24 KJV "And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief." NASB "Immediately the boy's father cried out and began saying, "I do believe; help my unbelief."" NASB leaves out the reference to Jesus as "Lord."

Mark 11:10 KJV "Blessed be the kingdom of our father David, that cometh in the name of the Lord: Hosanna in the highest." NASB "Blessed is the coming kingdom of our father David; Hosanna in the highest!"" NASB changes it to: "Blessed is the coming kingdom of our father David; hosanna in the highest." This is saying that His Kingdom hasn't come. Jesus is already sitting on the throne, at the right hand of the Father.

Luke 4:8 KJV "And Jesus said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord they God, and him only shalt thou serve." NASB "And Jesus answered and said to him, "It is written, 'YOU SHALL WORSHIP THE LORD YOUR GOD AND SERVE HIM ONLY.'"" NASB leaves out "Get thee behind me Satan."

Luke 4:41 KJV "And devils also came out of many, crying out, and saying, Thou art Christ the Son of God ..." NASB "And demons also were coming out of many, crying out and saying, "You are the Son of God!" And rebuking them, He would not allow them to speak, because they knew Him to be the Christ." NASB leaves out the reference to Jesus by the devils that He was "Christ."

Luke 7:31 KJV "And the Lord said, Whereunto then shall I liken the men of this generation? and to what are they like?" NASB ""To what then shall I compare the men of this generation, and what are they like?" NASB leaves out "And the Lord said."

Luke 11:2 KJV "And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth." NASB "And He said to them, "When you pray, say: 'Father, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come." He isn't "Our Father" but just Father, and He isn't in Heaven, because that tells you something of who He is and points to Him as the Heavenly Father, so both references to heaven are removed. He must be here on earth. The reason for this is that the New Agers and Catholics believe in the "universal fatherhood" of God. My Father or Our Father becomes "The Father." This can be seen in some of the verses below; John 10:30,32; 14:28, etc. He is Father to all, and with it is the "Brotherhood of man." Then what happened to His will! Most today want to do their own, and justify it, and say that is the way it is supposed to be, but not so. We are to say "If the Lord will. . ."

James 4:15 KJV "For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that." Satan wants you to do his will, and not the Father's.

Luke 11:4 KJV "And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil." NASB "'And forgive us our sins, For we ourselves also forgive everyone who is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation.'"" Even Satanists and Eastern Mysticists desire cleansing from sin, and Satan desires to masquerade as the sin forgiver and destroyer. Example: From the Complete Book of Magic and Witchcraft, part of a Satanic ritual states: "Grant that I may be cleansed by this water from all my sins." So Satan doesn't take this part out. But think about it; why don't they want you to be delivered from evil? This is all part of the conspiracy. First they deny the existence of Satan. They say that Satan is not a person, but merely a "power of evil." Then they assert that Lucifer and the Devil are separate and distinct entities. Satan tries to hide his real identity, and hide behind other names. New Agers say that Satan is a figment of the Christians imagination. They point out that Lucifer means 'day-star' or 'light giver' and say that Lucifer is the brightest of God's angels. Albert Pike said, "Lucifer is God." That's the next step in the deception: claiming that Lucifer is a good angel or even God or Christ Himself.

Luke 22:31 KJV "And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat." NASB ""Simon, Simon, behold, Satan has demanded permission to sift you like wheat;" NASB leaves out "And the Lord said" and it changes "hath desired to have you" to "has demanded permission."

Luke 23:42 KJV The thief on the cross spoke: "And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom." NASB "And he was saying, "Jesus, remember me when You come in Your kingdom!"" NASB changes it to "And he was saying, Jesus, remember me when you come in your kingdom." It leaves out the word "Lord" and puts his kingdom off into the future.

Luke 24:51 KJV "And it came to pass, while he blessed them, he was parted from them, and carried up into heaven." NASB "And it came about that while He was blessing them, He parted from them." NASB leaves out "and carried up into heaven."

John 1:18 KJV "No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him." NASB "No man has seen God at any time; the only begotten God, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has explained Him." NASB changes "only begotten Son" to "only begotten God" and changes "declared" to "explained".

John 1:27 KJV "He it is, who coming after me is preferred before me, whose shoe's latchet I am not worthy to unloose." NASB ""It is He who comes after me, the thong of whose sandal I am not worthy to untie."" NASB leaves out "preferred before me."

John 3:13 KJV "And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven." NASB ""And no one has ascended into heaven, but He who descended from heaven, even the Son of Man." NASB leaves out "which is in heaven."

John 9:35 KJV "Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when he had found him, he said unto him, Dost thou believe on the Son of God?" NASB "Jesus heard that they had put him out; and finding him, He said, "Do you believe in the Son of Man?"" NASB changes 'Dost thou believe on the Son of God?' to 'Do you believe in the Son of Man?' It does away with Christ's' divinity.

John 10:30 KJV "I and my Father are one." NASB "I and the Father are one." Again, Satan is trying to do away with the Heavenly Father, and sit himself on the throne. These are some more of the verses doing away with the Personal "My" or "Our" Father for an impersonal one, as well as changing "Our Lord" and "My Lord" to "The Lord" in referring to Jesus. John 10:32 KJV "Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?" NASB Jesus answered them, "I showed you many good works from the Father; for which of them are you stoning Me?"

John 14:28 KJV "Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you, If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I." NASB "You heard that I said to you, 'I go away, and I will come to you.' If you loved Me, you would have rejoiced, because I go to the Father; for the Father is greater than I." This is but a few of many such verses. Galatians 1:3 KJV "Grace be to you, and peace, from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ," NASB "Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ." 2Thessalonians 1:2 KJV "Grace unto you, and peace, from God our Father . . ." NASB "Grace to you and peace from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ." 1Timothy 1:2 KJV "Unto Timothy, my own son in the faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God our Father. . ." NASB "to Timothy, my true child in the faith: Grace, mercy and peace from God the Father ... "

Acts 2:30 KJV "Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;" NASB "And so, because he was a prophet, and knew that GOD HAD SWORN TO HIM WITH AN OATH TO SEAT one OF HIS DESCENDANTS UPON HIS THRONE," NASB leaves out "according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ." Where is Christ?

Romans 14:10 KJV ". .for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ." NASB "But you, why do you judge your brother? Or you again, why do you regard your brother with contempt? For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of God." NASB changes 'judgment seat of Christ' to 'judgment seat of God.' To stand at the judgment seat of Christ is to give an account to God. Again Christ is left out of His place as the one who will judge us. It is rejecting His Divinity.

Galatians 6:17 KJV "From henceforth let no man trouble me: for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus." NASB "From now on let no one cause trouble for me, for I bear on my body the brand-marks of Jesus." NASB leaves out "Lord." They don't mind calling Jesus Savior, but they don't want you to surrender your life to His Lordship. The want people to think that you can accept and receive Jesus as Savior, for "fire insurance" to keep you from hell, without receiving Him as Lord.

Ephesians 3:9 KJV ".. which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ." NASB "and to bring to light what is the administration of the mystery which for ages has been hidden in God, who created all things;" NASB leaves out "by Jesus Christ" to undermine His Deity.

Ephesians 3:14 KJV "For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ." NASB "For this reason, I bow my knees before the Father," The NASB leaves out "of our Lord Jesus Christ."

Colossians1:2 KJV "To the saints and faithful brethren in Christ which are at Colosse: Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ." NASB "to the saints and faithful brethren in Christ who are at Colossae: Grace to you and peace from God our Father." NASB leaves out "and the Lord Jesus Christ."

1 Timothy 2:7 KJV "Whereunto I am ordained a preacher, and an apostle, (I speak the truth in Christ, and lie not;) a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and verity." NASB "And for this I was appointed a preacher and an apostle (I am telling the truth, I am not lying) as a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth." NASB leaves out "in Christ."

1 Timothy 3:16 KJV "And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory." NASB "And by common confession great is the mystery of godliness: He who was revealed in the flesh, Was vindicated in the Spirit, Beheld by angels, Proclaimed among the nations, Believed on in the world, Taken up in glory." NASB changes 'God was manifest in the flesh' to 'He who was revealed in the flesh.' Also the added 'who' changes the sentence structure and meaning. Jesus came in the flesh and was God manifest in the flesh. This is lost in the NASB.

2 Timothy 4:22 KJV "The Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Grace be with you. Amen." NASB "The Lord be with your spirit. Grace be with you." NASB leaves out "Jesus Christ." So whom is the reference speaking of that is Lord? They don't want Jesus to get the honor and glory due Him, nor for you to serve Him as your Lord and Savior.

Hebrews 2:7 KJV "Thou made Him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst Him with glory and honour, and didst set Him over the works of thy hands." NASB ""THOU HAST MADE HIM FOR A LITTLE WHILE LOWER THAN THE ANGELS; THOU HAST CROWNED HIM WITH GLORY AND HONOR, AND HAST APPOINTED HIM OVER THE WORKS OF THY HANDS;" NASB leaves out "and didst set Him over the works of thy hands." Why do they continually leave out the most significant parts of these verses that show Jesus to be both Lord and Savior?

1 John 5:7 KJV "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one." NASB "And it is the Spirit who bears witness, because the Spirit is the truth." NASB totally changes the meaning of the verse, leaving out the Father and the Word (Jesus) and has only one witness instead of three. This is leaving out the trinity.

1 John 5:13 KJV "These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God." NASB "These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, in order that you may know that you have eternal life." NASB leaves out the last 13 words of the verse (underlined) that speak of putting our faith in Christ.

Revelation 1:11 KJV "Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and What thou seest, write in a book and send it to the seven churches which are in Asia ..." NASB "saying, "Write in a book what you see, and send it to the seven churches: . . ."" NASB leaves out "I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last." This is a reference to Christ, and who He is, as the eternal God, the only begotten of the Father, and the firstborn from the dead.

Revelation 5:14b KJV "... And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped Him that liveth for ever and ever." NASB "And the four living creatures kept saying, "Amen." And the elders fell down and worshiped." NASB leaves out "Him that liveth for ever and ever." Who were the elders worshipping? The lamb who was slain, the one who said in Revelation 2:8 "These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive."

These are just a portion, an example of the many verses in the New Testament in which the references to Christ as Lord, as God, and as Creator are watered down or entirely deleted. The translators of the NASB are against Christ. They are truly Anti-Christ. They do not want you to believe in Him nor put your faith in Him as your personal Lord and Savior, and they do not want you to serve Him and obey Him. If they can get you to believe in a historical Jesus, that you do not put your faith and trust in for forgiveness of your sins, or without bowing your life and heart to worship and serve Him as Lord, they will have succeeded in keeping you from Heaven and will help send you to Hell for all eternity! The following sections will further prove this point. Again, all sections are only a representation of the multitude of scriptures that have been changed by the translators of the NASB.

Salvation, Salvation by Faith, and Atonement

Genesis 6:8 KJV "But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord." NASB "But Noah found favor in the eyes of the LORD." NASB changes 'found grace' to 'found favor'. There is a big difference in the two. According to the American Heritage Dictionary III, favor is: A gracious, friendly, or obliging act that is freely granted: do someone a favor. Grace is theology. a. Divine love and protection bestowed freely on people. b. The state of being protected or sanctified by the favor of God. c. An excellence or a power granted by God. Which would you rather receive from the Lord?

Zechariah 9:9 KJV "Behold thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass." NASB "Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout in triumph, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your king is coming to you; He is just and endowed with salvation, Humble, and mounted on a donkey, Even on a colt, the foal of a donkey." NASB changes the words 'and having salvation' to 'endowed with salvation.' The NASB doesn't want to admit that salvation is in Jesus alone. The NASB is translated to support salvation by works. Surely He possessed salvation, but is it available to us?

Matthew 9:13b KJV "for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance." NASB "for I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners."" NASB leaves out "to repentance." Jesus is merely calling to sinners. But what are they being called too?

Matthew 18:11 KJV "For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost." NASB puts this verse in brackets and says the most ancient manuscripts do not contain this verse. This degrades Jesus place as Savior, the purpose for which He came into the world.

Mark 2:17 KJV "When Jesus heard it, he saith unto them, They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance." NASB "And hearing this, Jesus said to them, "It is not those who are healthy who need a physician, but those who are sick; I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners."" NASB leaves out "to repentance" as in Matthew 9:13. Without this reference, what is the sinner called to? It is not by accident that this change is made not just in one verse, but in each of the gospels, eliminating all together that reference to the need for repentance.

Mark 10:24 KJV "Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God!" NASB "And the disciples were amazed at His words. But Jesus answered again and said to them, "Children, how hard it is to enter the kingdom of God!" NASB totally changes the meaning, by leaving out "for them that trust in riches." The Catholic church amasses riches, and teach that men have to be prayed out of purgatory to get into heaven, a primary means of the church getting money from it's worshippers. By leaving out "for them that trust in riches" it allows them to use the verse to serve their own purposes.

Mark 15:28 KJV "And the scripture was fulfilled, which saith, And he was numbered with the transgressors." NASB "<And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, "And He was numbered with transgressors.">" Notice the "<>" surrounding the verse. The footnote to this verse says it is not contained in many manuscripts, which is a lie. Furthermore it is a quote of Isaiah 53:12.

Luke 9:55 KJV "But he turned and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of. For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them. And they went to another village." NASB (v.55-56) "But He turned and rebuked them, <and said, "You do not know what kind of spirit you are of; for the Son of Man did not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them."> And they went on to another village." [Again, notice the brackets from the middle of v.55 to the middle of v.56] NASB leaves denies the entire underlined section referring to Jesus as the Son of Man and Savior. The change in the meaning of these two verses is unmistakable. They are not unintentional omissions, or accidents. Look at the two verses: KJV "But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of. For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them. And they went to another village." NASB "But Jesus turned and rebuked them, and they went to another village."

Luke 17:36 KJV "Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left." NASB "<"Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other will be left.">" Again, the NASB claims that many manuscripts do not contain this verse, as a part of the parable on the Kingdom of God.

John 6:35 KJV "I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger. . ." NASB "Jesus said to them, "I am the bread of life; he who comes to Me shall not hunger. . ." NASB changes the word 'never hunger' to 'not hunger'. They aren't the same. You can say 'I'm not hungry, because I just ate dinner.' That doesn't mean you won't be hungry later. Jesus said 'He that cometh to me shall NEVER hunger.'

John 6:47 KJV "I say unto you, he that believeth on me hath everlasting life." NASB ""Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes has eternal life." NASB leaves out the words 'on me', leaving you to wonder what to believe in. Our faith has to be in Christ. NASB left out what we are to put our faith in, Christ.

Acts 7:37 KJV "This is that Moses, which saith unto the children of Israel, a prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear." NASB ""This is the Moses who said to the sons of Israel, 'GOD SHALL RAISE UP FOR YOU A PROPHET LIKE ME FROM YOUR BRETHREN.'" NASB leaves out "him shall ye hear." Why? Do they not want you to hear Jesus? It's because they want you to hear someone else?

Acts 8:37 KJV "If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God." NASB brackets the verse and says many manuscripts do not contain it. Again, the same lie.

Romans 1:16 KJV "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ..." NASB "For I am not ashamed of the gospel. . ." NASB leaves out "of Christ." So whose gospel is it? What is the gospel without Christ? And what power to save is there in a gospel without Christ?

Romans 8:1 KJV "There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit." NASB "There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus." NASB leaves out "who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit" It changes the entire meaning of the verse and leaves no requirement or prerequisite to being free from condemnation. In truth, the verse tells us that if you do walk in the flesh, then there is condemnation. They have taken that out, so that you won't know the truth.

Romans 10:15b KJV "How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things." NASB "0"HOW BEAUTIFUL ARE THE FEET OF THOSE WHO BRING GLAD TIDINGS OF GOOD THINGS!"" So what is the "good news" if it is not "the gospel of peace." The gospel of Jesus will bring peace to those who put their faith and trust in the finished works of Calvary, and submits to His Lordship, for he is "the Prince of Peace" (Isaiah 9:6).

Romans 11:6 KJV "And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work." NASB "But if it is by grace, it is no longer on the basis of works, otherwise grace is no longer grace." NASB leaves out "But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work." It's talking about the remnant according to the election of grace (v.5) and the difference between grace and works. In verse five, the NASB leaves out "election of grace." Catholicism believes in salvation by works and not by grace through faith, that was what started the reformation. This was Martin Luther's key revelation.

Romans 15:29 KJV "And I am sure that, when I come unto you, I shall come in the fulness of the blessing of the gospel of Christ." NASB "And I know that when I come to you, I will come in the fulness of the blessing of Christ." NASB leaves out "of the gospel." The blessings we receive come only because of Calvary, and our faith in what Jesus accomplished for us on the Cross. The blessings of God only come to those who are obedient to "the gospel." All other is brought under God's judgment. 2 Thessalonians 1:8 (KJV) "In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:" Peter 4:17 (KJV) "For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?" What is Christ to us without the gospel; His death, burial and resurrection, that we might be redeemed from our sins. 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 (KJV) "For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:"

1 Corinthians 11:24 KJV "...Take eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: do this in remembrance of me." NASB "and when He had given thanks, He broke it, and said, "This is My body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of Me."" NASB leaves out "Take eat" and "broken". That is the core of communion and its meaning is changed by the NASB. The fact that he was broken for us is very important. Isaiah 53:3-5 tells of His being broken for us, as well as other Old Testament scriptures. Catholic's don't "break" the bread (representative of the body of the Lord Jesus), but eat what they say is the very body, soul, and blood of Christ transformed into their wafer.

Galatians 3:17 KJV "And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect." NASB "What I am saying is this: the Law, which came four hundred and thirty years later, does not invalidate a covenant previously ratified by God, so as to nullify the promise." NASB leaves out "in Christ." There is no Covenant without Christ. The New Testament or New Covenant, is based on the shed blood of Jesus.

Galatians 4:7 KJV "Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ." NASB "Therefore you are no longer a slave, but a son; and if a son, then an heir through God." NASB leaves out the most significant and important part, "through Christ." We have no other means of salvation. Acts 4:12 (KJV) "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." This passage tells us (v.10) that His Name is "Jesus Christ of Nazareth." There is salvation through or by no other name, but they leave out that part, and teach the brotherhood of all men and the Fatherhood of God, such that all men are "sons of God" which is not true.

Galatians 6:15 KJV "For in Christ Jesus, neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature." NASB "For neither is circumcision anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creation." NASB leaves out "For in Christ Jesus." Again, Christ is what makes the difference. They keep leaving Him out.

Ephesians 5:30 KJV "For we are members of His body, of His flesh, and of His bones." NASB "because we are members of His body." The part left out is for the analogy made in v.31. "For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh." 1Corinthians 6:15-17 "Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid." "What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh." "But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit." So why did the NASB leave out part of the analogy, and change it. We are to become one with Christ by the work of the Holy Spirit.

Colossians 1:14 KJV "In whom we have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of sins." NASB "in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins." NASB leaves out "through His blood." and degrades the importance of the Blood of Jesus for Christians. Without the blood, what is the source or means of our redemption? Where is the blood? Does not Hebrews 9:22 say "without shedding of blood is no remission (forgiveness)". This verse is even in the NASB. Catholic's do away with the finished works of Calvary, and crucify Him afresh, again and again." That's what the Mass is all about. They keep Jesus on the Cross, they serve a dead Jesus, not a risen Savior.

Colossians 2:11 KJV "In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ." NASB "and in Him you were also circumcised with a circumcision made without hands, in the removal of the body of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ;" NASB leaves out "of the sins," which changes the whole meaning. Salvation involves a repentance of sin, and turning from past sins, to walk in the newness of life of the Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 6:4-6 (KJV) "Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. 5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: 6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin." Romans 6:10-12 (KJV) "For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God. 11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. 12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof." You can't keep walking in sin and the old sinful nature, and walk in the life of Christ. Either you live and walk in the flesh or in the Spirit, but not both. 2 Corinthians 5:17 (KJV) "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." Romans 6:22-23 (KJV) "But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. 23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." There is much on this subject. There is simply no salvation without a repentance of and turning from sin and a life of sin.

Colossians 3:6 KJV "For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience." NASB "For it is on account of these things that the wrath of God will come,"

NASB leaves out "on the children of disobedience." Catholics are telling the world, don't look at my sins, it's none of your business; wrongly applying scripture to cover their sins; as, "judge not, least ye be judged," and "love covers a multitude of sins." The way that love covers them, is through the blood of Christ by the gospel of His death, burial and resurrection. James 5:20 (KJV) "Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins." This is so the wickedness of their priests can be covered and passed over as they do not exist. Because of people coming out of the closet and telling the truth and suing the Catholic Church, they are for the first time being forced to face up to the fact that many of their priests are and have been fornicators and child molesters, even though they are supposed to be holy men who live a life of abstinence from sexual relations. Until recently, a priest charged with such misconduct, was simply moved to a new parish, where he continued his ways of sin. There are numerous books by priests, who came to Christ, that have told the truth of what goes on in the Catholic Church, and the confessions of other priests and much higher that they heard.

Hebrews 1:3 KJV "Who being the brightness of His glory, and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high." NASB "And He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power. When He had made purification of sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high;" NASB leaves out "by Himself." So we wouldn't know how he purged our sins. He "who his own self bare our sins in His own body on the tree" (1 Peter 2:24). Catholic's don't want us to think our salvation totally and complete depends upon Jesus, and His shed blood.

1 Peter 4:1 KJV "Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin;" NASB "Therefore, since Christ has suffered in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same purpose, because he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin," NASB leaves out "for us," the reason why Christ suffered and went to the Cross. This verse in the NASB makes it as if Christ suffered for His own sins, and we know that He was without sin. He also didn't suffer for nothing, but "for us."

James 5:16 KJV "Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed." NASB "Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much." NASB changes "faults" to "sins" because the Catholic's believe in confessions to priests, instead of unto God, who alone has power to forgive sins.

1 John 4:3 KJV "And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is the spirit of antichrist. ." NASB "and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God; and this is the spirit of the antichrist, of which you have heard that it is coming, and now it is already in the world." NASB leaves out "Christ is come in the flesh." This very translation makes those translators guilty of being of the spirit of antichrist. What this verse and passage are really referring to, is the one who confesses that Jesus Christ is come into their lives, and is living in them, and they are one with Him. That means they confess Him as their personal Lord. 1 Corinthians 6:17 (KJV) "But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit." You are one in spirit with Him. John 14:23 (KJV) "Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him." 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (KJV) "What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's." 2 Corinthians 6:16 (KJV) "And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people."

Revelation 14:5 KJV "And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God." NASB "And no lie was found in their mouth; they are blameless." It is of no value to be blameless before man and not God.

The Resurrection

Mark 16:9-20 KJV "Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils. 10 And she went and told them that had been with him, as they mourned and wept. 11 And they, when they had heard that he was alive, and had been seen of her, believed not. 12 After that he appeared in another form unto two of them, as they walked, and went into the country. 13 And they went and told it unto the residue: neither believed they them. 14 Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen. 15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. 17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. 19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. 20 And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen." Mark 16:9 NASB The NASB puts brackets around all 12 verses and says they were 'probably not' in the original writings. Casting doubt on the section of scripture. The NASB does this on many important verses or parts of verses. It is not necessary to copy the verses of Mark 16 from the NASB Bible, for they have already told us that they don't believe it is part of the Holy Writ. Who are these ancient witnesses referred too? Of what reliable manuscripts are they speaking that leave out this section of Scripture, versus the unreliable ones that contain it? An attack and accusation without any proof or source to back up their claim. WHY? Catholic's today have a new doctrine, that of the bodily assumption of Mary. She has taken the place of Christ, she is without original sin, she is their mediatrix to whom they pray for mercy, and she was bodily (without death) ascended into glory. Mary is also called the "Mother of God" and many other exalting titles. The Catholic Church began praying to Mary about 600 AD; as well as other dead "saints." The Catholic Church tells their people that Jesus is a judge that is harsh and judgmental, and that without Mary's intercession on their behalf, no one would receive any mercy from Him, and no one is allowed to plead their own case before Him. Mary is the one who stands as mediatrix between man and Jesus, begging her son to forgive and have pity on those Roman Catholic who pray to her. She is seen as co-savior and co-redeemer, in fact she is promoted above Christ.

The Second Comming of Christ

Matthew 25:13 KJV "Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh." NASB ""Be on the alert then, for you do not know the day nor the hour." NASB leaves out "wherein the Son of man cometh," changing the whole meaning of the verse.

Matthew 27:35 KJV "And they crucified him, and parted his garments, casting lots: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, They parted my garments among them, and upon my vesture did they cast lots." NASB "And when they had crucified Him, they divided up His garments among themselves, casting lots;" NASB leaves out 'that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, They parted by garments among them, and upon my vesture did they cast lots.'

Mark 12:29-30 KJV "And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:" "And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment." NASB "Jesus answered, "The foremost is, 'HEAR, O ISRAEL! THE LORD OUR GOD IS ONE LORD;" "AND YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND, AND WITH ALL YOUR STRENGTH.'" NASB leaves out all the underlined words "The first of all the commandments is" and "this is the first commandment." They don't want us to know that this is not only a commandment, but the first commandment.

Mark 13:14 KJV "But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains:" NASB ""But when you see the ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION standing where it should not be( let the reader understand), then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains." NASB leaves out " spoken of by Daniel the prophet." This shows it to be a fulfillment of prophecy. Such references are frequently left out in the NASB.

Luke 4:4 KJV "It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God." NASB "And Jesus answered him, "It is written, 'MAN SHALL NOT LIVE ON BREAD ALONE.'"" NASB leaves out 'but by every word of God." That is the core of the verse. Without it, we don't know what man is to live by (besides bread). It is trying to tell us that as the physical man lives by natural bread, we are to live also by the spiritual bread, the bread of God, which is the Word of God. It's our heavenly manna. Jesus is the bread come down from heaven. John 6:48-51(KJV) ""I am the bread of life." ""Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and they died."" "This is the bread which comes down out of heaven, so that one may eat of it and not die." ""I am the living bread that came down out of heaven; if anyone eats of this bread, he shall live forever; and the bread also which I shall give for the life of the world is My flesh.""

Luke 9:54b KJV ". . .Wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them, even as Elijah did?" NASB ". . .Lord, do You want us to command fire to come down from heaven and consume them?"" NASB leaves out "even as Elijah did."

Luke 11:29b KJV ". . but the sign of Jonah the prophet." NASB ". . . but the sign of Jonah." NASB leaves out "the prophet." Again, the deleting of reference to the Old Testament prophets.

Titus 2:13 KJV "Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the God and our Saviour Jesus Christ." NASB "looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus;" NASB changes 'glorious appearing ' to 'appearing of the glory'. The glorious appearing of Christ is the blessed hope of the believer. We aren't looking for someone with something that appears like glory, but Jesus our Saviour.

The Word of God and Old Testament Prophets

Matthew 27:35 KJV "And they crucified him, and parted his garments, casting lots: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, They parted my garments among them, and upon my vesture did they cast lots." NASB "And when they had crucified Him, they divided up His garments among themselves, casting lots;" NASB leaves out "that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, They parted my garments among them, and upon my vesture did they cast lots." They are undermining the fulfilled prophecy of the O.T., which supports the validity of it being from God. Many today do not accept or use the O.T. in their study of the Word of God. They say we are not under the O.T., and they only read the Psalms and Proverbs out of the Old Testament.

Mark 13:14 KJV "But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains:" NASB ""But when you see the ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION standing where it should not be( let the reader understand), then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains." The NASB leaves out "spoken of by Daniel the prophet." It does this with many verses referring to the fulfillment of Old Testament prophesy and notes that many manuscripts do not contain these verses or references to the Old Testament Prophets. They are trying to destroy the credibility of the Prophetic part of the Bible, so that you will not believe that God has foretold everything, and what He has spoken, will surely come to pass.

Mark 15:28 KJV "And the scripture was fulfilled, which saith, And he was numbered with the transgressors." NASB brackets this verse, as many others, and says that it is not contained in many manuscripts. Again, it has to do with the fulfillment of Old Testament prophecy concerning Christ. It is part of the "proof" that He was indeed the very Christ that was promised.

Luke 4:4 KJV "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God." NASB "And Jesus answered him, "It is written, 'MAN SHALL NOT LIVE ON BREAD ALONE.'"" NASB leaves out "but by every word of God." So then, what is that which man is to live by besides bread? It doesn't tell you. Many they want us to guess what it is? Would God make such an omission? Such an obvious blunder in the verse?

Luke 9:54 KJV "And when his disciples James and John saw this, they said, Lord, wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them, even as Elias did?" NASB "And when His disciples James and John saw this, they said, "Lord, do You want us to command fire to come down from heaven and consume them?"" NASB leaves out the reference "even as Elijah did."

Galatians 3:1 KJV "O Foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?" NASB "You foolish Galatians, who has bewitched you, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was publicly portrayed as crucified?" NASB leaves out ", that ye should not obey the truth" That's the center of the verse, without which the meaning is lost. How were they bewitched? What was the result and purpose of the enemy in this thing?

1 Thessalonians 2:13 KJV "when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it. ." NASB "And for this reason we also constantly thank God that when you received from us the word of God's message, you accepted it not as the word of men, but for what it really is, the word of God, which also performs its work in you who believe." NASB changes 'the Word of God' to 'word of God's message.' If the Bible isn't THE WORD of GOD, then we have no final standard.

Virgin Birth

Matthew 1:25 KJV "And knew her not until she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name Jesus." NASB "and kept her a virgin until she gave birth to a Son; and he called His name Jesus." NASB leaves out 'first-born,' making Jesus just another son of Mary.

Luke 2:33 KJV "And Joseph and his mother marvelled at those things which were spoken of him." NASB "And His father and mother were amazed at the things which were being said about Him." NASB changes "Joseph and his mother" to "his father and mother" making Jesus the son of Joseph and just a man. This also attacks His Deity. Joseph was not the father of Jesus. Mary conceived by the Holy Ghost. The NASB's version is heresy. The Catholic's believe in the Virgin Birth of Christ, but they want to destroy the faith of the Protestant's and get them to accept Catholic's as "brothers in Christ," which they are not.

Luke 2:43 KJV "And when they had fulfilled the days, as they returned, the child Jesus tarried behind in Jerusalem; and Joseph and his mother knew not of it." NASB "and as they were returning, after spending the full number of days, the boy Jesus stayed behind in Jerusalem. And His parents were unaware of it," NASB changes "and Joseph and his mother knew of it" to "and his parents were aware of it." What scripture the Catholic's have not corrupted to promote their doctrines, they have done to destroy the foundation of the Christian (Protestant) faith; it's fundamental doctrines. "If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?" (Psalm 11:3).

Suffering for Christ

Matthew 20:22 KJV "But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They say unto him, We are able." NASB "But Jesus answered and said, "You do not know what you are asking for. Are you able to drink the cup that I am about to drink?" They said to Him, "We are able."" NASB totally leaves out the underlined reference to baptism. This is a reference to the Baptism of suffering of which believers partake. Philippians 1:20; 1 Timothy 4:6; 2 Timothy 1:12; 2:12; 3:12; 1 Thessalonians 3:4; 2 Thessalonians 1:5; 1 Peter 2:20; 3:14, 17; 4:16, 19; James 5:10...

Prayer

God's formula for prayer, as revealed by the Lord Jesus Christ, is that we pray to the Father, in His Name (Jesus). The New Age Catholic Ecumenical Versions of the Bible teach prayer directly to the Son or to the Father, but not in the 'Name' of Jesus. This section will deal with this, as well as other problems concerning prayer in the NASB and other New Versions, such as leaving out fervent prayer and even fasting.

Matthew 23:14 KJV "Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows' houses, and for a pretense make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation." NASB "<"Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites, because you devour widows' houses, even while for a pretense you make long prayers; therefore you shall receive greater condemnation.>" Note the markings around the verse. This is considered by some as not being in the original manuscripts. Catholicism recites prayers (as the rosary) repetitively for long periods of time, and robs widows by asking money to pray them out of purgatory.

Mark 9:29 KJV "And he said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting." NASB "And He said to them, "This kind cannot come out by anything but prayer."" NASB leaves out "and fasting." This makes the meaning totally different. The scripture is telling us that some devils are harder to cast out than others, and require fasting as well as prayer to enable us to gain the strength and anointing of God to cast them out.

Mark 11:26 KJV "But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses." NASB "<"But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father who is in heaven forgive your transgressions.">" Again, not the markings surrounding the verse. In the footnotes the NASB tells us that this verse is not contained in most manuscripts. This is a scriptural principle; whatsoever a man sows, that shall he also reap. We have to be willing to forgive others, even as we are forgiven (Ephesians 4:32). If we don't obey the gospel, if we don't forgive others as we are commanded, then how can confessing ones sins to a priest, who is supposed to bring absolution, be of any help or value? Is he greater than God is? To be able to do that which is contrary to the Word, ways and dealings of God with man?

Mark 13:33 KJV "Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is." NASB ""Take heed, keep on the alert; for you do not know when the appointed time is." NASB leaves out "pray". That is how we watch and stay ready. Remember Jesus in the Garden? Mat 26:41 (KJV) "Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak." Without reference to prayer, this verse becomes meaningless.

Matthew 17:21 KJV "Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting." NASB "<"But this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.">" Again the NASB tells us that many manuscripts do not contain this verse. How they love to change or just leave out what they don't like. They pick and choose what they want to believe and for you to believe.

Luke 11:2 KJV ". .When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth." NASB "And He said to them, "When you pray, say: 'Father, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come." NASB leaves out "which art in heaven" and "Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth". It leaves out over half the verse and entirely destroys its meaning. The reference to the Father being in Heaven, instead of on the earth, and to doing His will, is deleted. Why? Because the Catholics have replaced Him with the Pope, who is called their "Holy Father." He has taken the place of Christ as the "Vicar of Christ" and He has also taken the place of the Father.

Luke 11:4 KJV "And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil." NASB "'And forgive us our sins, For we ourselves also forgive everyone who is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation.'"" NASB leaves out "but deliver us from evil." Why don't they want you to be delivered from evil?

John 14:14 KJV "If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it." NASB ""If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it." That is ridiculous. It is praying to Jesus, in Jesus' Name. That is not what is intended as we can verify with other verses.

John 16:23 KJV "And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you." The NASB totally changes the meaning. NASB ""And in that day you will ask Me no question. Truly, truly, I say to you, if you shall ask the Father for anything, He will give it to you in My name." Your not asking the Father in Jesus Name, but the Father is giving to you in Jesus Name, what you ask of Him. Yet you see a contradiction between this verse and John 14:14 above. Here the NASB admits "you will no longer ask me anything", tells us that we ask the Father; yet in John 14:14 it told us to "ask Me for anything in my Name" by directly praying to Jesus.

Acts 10:30 KJV "And Cornelius said, Four days ago I was fasting until this hour; and at the ninth hour I prayed in my house, and behold, a man stood before me in bright clothing," NASB "And Cornelius said, "Four days ago to this hour, I was praying in my house during the ninth hour; and behold, a man stood before me in shining garments," The reference to Cornelius' fasting is left out. Yet it is an important part of the story. Leaving it out changes it significantly. God has asked us to seek Him with prayer and fasting! It is a way in which we show God that we are serious and we are thereby diligently seeking Him with all our heart, to the point of foregoing food. Job 23:12 KJV "Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food." Many men of God fasted, as did Jesus often, in seeking the Will of the Father, and His Presence, or answers to great needs, or for their lives to be spared. The

1 Corinthians 7:5 KJV "Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency." NASB "Stop depriving one another, except by agreement for a time that you may devote yourselves to prayer, and come together again lest Satan tempt you because of your lack of self-control." Why don't they want you to fast as a part of your Christian walk with God? They know it is a means of spiritual growth and strength.

2 Corinthians 6:5 KJV "In stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labours, in watchings, in fastings;" NASB "in beatings, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labors, in sleeplessness, in hunger,"

Again we see it in 2 Corinthians 11:27 KJV "In weariness and painfulness, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness." NASB "I have labored and toiled and have often gone without sleep; I have known hunger and thirst and have often gone without food; I have been cold and naked." Where is Paul's fasting?

The Trinity

1 John 5:7 KJV "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one." NASB "And it is the Spirit who bears witness, because the Spirit is the truth." NASB leaves out the last 15 words of the verse, and skips to v.8, leaving out the first part of it also, and mentioning the three witnesses on earth without saying where these witnesses are, and mentioning none in heaven. This is an attack on the Trinity, a key doctrine for the true Christian. Most cultic religions reject this doctrine. 1 John 5:8 KJV "And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one." NASB "For there are three that bear witness, the Spirit and the water and the blood; and the three are in agreement." When you put the two verses together the totality of the NASB is: 1John 5:7-8 "And it is the Spirit who bears witness, because the Spirit is the truth. For there are three that bear witness, the Spirit and the water and the blood; and the three are in agreement." That is not similar in meaning in any way to the original. All the underlined parts above are left out. This is an abomination. We must remember Revelation 22:19 (KJV) "And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book." I think they have bitten off more than they will be able to chew.

Other Verses

Matthew 5:44 KJV "But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you." NASB ""But I say to you, love your enemies, and pray for those who persecute you" NASB leaves out most of the verse: "bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them that despitefully use you." Catholic's believe in killing, and destroying all those who don't believe in their doctrines. The have killed all the "heretics" who didn't accept Roman Catholicism any chance they have had throughout history. Look at the history of the Catholic inquisitions, and their religious wars. You don't have to go back to the Catholic Crusades in the name of the Pope and Christianity as far back as the 11th century when the Catholic murdered Jews and tried to destroy them and take over Jerusalem for themselves; or the middle ages, when they put to death and burned at the stake as heretics, men who tried to bring the Word of God to the people in their own language; as John Huss, William Tyndale, John Hooper, John Wycliff, Dr. Nicolas Ridley, Dr. Roland Taylor, Hugh Latimer, and many others, as Dr. Martin Luther, whom if the could have killed, they would have killed. You don't have to look past the mid 20th century, to the Catholic inquisitions and persecution during World War II in Poland, Yugoslavia, and other countries. The Catholic Church backed and had concordats with Hitler, and Mussolini, and was the mother of both the Communist Party and the Nazi Party. The Jesuit priests were the power and guidance behind it all. A Jesuit priest name Staempfle wrote "Mein Kampf" for Hitler, and the Jesuits worked closely with Marx, Engels, Trotsky, Lenin and Stalin, and supported them. The Catholic Church helped bankroll the revolution that put Russia in the hands of Communism. It was the Catholic Church behind the murdering of the more than 6 million Jews by the Nazi's, a repeat of their prior efforts to destroy all Jews from the face of the earth.

Matthew 6:33 KJV "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness;' NASB leaves out the words 'of God.' That tells you whose kingdom to seek.

Matthew 12:35 KJV "A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things:' NASB leaves out 'of the heart.' That changes the scripture to mean the good things come from earthly treasures. It makes it sound like the verse is talking about money.

Matthew 17:21 KJV "Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting." The NASB "<"But this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.">" The NASB puts this verse in brackets and discounts it as being not in the oldest manuscripts, which for them are the Alexandrian corrupted ones. The verse is in the middle of a teaching on deliverance from demon possession, and fasting and prayer is a very important part of deliverance from demonic possession.

Matthew 19:9 KJV "And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery, and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery." NASB ""And I say to you, whoever divorces his wife, except for immorality, and marries another woman commits adultery."" The NASB changes the meaning entirely by changing the word "fornication" to "immorality" which are not the same thing, and it leaves out the last part "and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery." This verse is crucial to our living an undefiled life. Most in the church fall into sexual sins, and this is what will take them to hell. Sexual sins are one of the biggest problems in the church today. Divorce and Remarriage is now as great a problem within the church as outside the church. This was not so from the time of Christ until the past 20 years. Likewise for immorality and fornication. Fornication has to do with sexual relations before marriage (only), and immorality can refer to illicit sexual relations before or after marriage. This verse is a reference to the Jewish marriage in which the bride and groom were espoused (legally married) and the dowry paid, but they did not come together sexually and continued to live with their parents until the groom had prepared them a place to live, usually about a year after the marriage ceremony. This was the situation with Joseph and Mary. They were espoused, married legally; but had not consummated the marriage. It is during this time before the coming together of the bride & groom that this verse is referring to with the word "fornication." If one partner breaks the marriage promise by fornication before the marriage is consummated, then the other is free to put that one away and marry another and is not guilty before the Lord of either fornication or adultery. The scripture tells us that Joseph would have put Mary away when he found her to be with child, knowing it was not his own; but the angel of the Lord told him not to, that it was not as he thought. Matthew 1:18-20 KJV "Now the birth of Jesus Christ was as follows. When His mother Mary had been betrothed to Joseph, before they came together she was found to be with child by the Holy Spirit. And Joseph her husband, being a righteous man, and not wanting to disgrace her, desired to put her away secretly. But when he had considered this, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, "Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife; for that which has been conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit." No scripture can be properly interpreted without supporting scripture and the proper scriptural examples. Doing otherwise is what leads to doctrines and traditions of men that have nothing to do with the pure Word of God.

Matthew 19:17 KJV "Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God:" NASB "And He said to him, "Why are you asking Me about what is good? There is only One who is good; but if you wish to enter into life, keep the commandments."" NASB leaves out 'that is, God.' It leaves you not knowing who this one is that is good. Is it talking about a man instead of God? Like the Pope?

Matthew 20:7b KJV ". . .Go ye also into the vineyard; and whatsoever is right, that shall ye receive." NASB ". . . 'You too go into the vineyard.'" NASB leaves out 'and whatsoever is right, that shall ye receive.' God rewards those who work for Him in His vineyard, when they do His will. It has to do with obeying Him. Those who serve themselves are not serving the Lord Jesus.

Matthew 20:16 KJV "So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen." NASB ""Thus the last shall be first, and the first last."" NASB leaves out "for many be called, but few chosen." This has to do with our salvation. Many are called to salvation; the ones chosen, are those who answer the call and obey the gospel. We have to "make our calling and election sure." It isn't who begins the race, but who finishes it.

Matthew 20:22 KJV "Are yea able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They say unto him, We are able." NASB "But Jesus answered and said, "You do not know what you are asking for. Are you able to drink the cup that I am about to drink?" They said to Him, "We are able."" NASB leaves out 'and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?' That is referring to our being baptized into His death. We have to die to the self-life, and life the Spirit led life.

Matthew 28:9 KJV "And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him." NASB "And behold, Jesus met them and greeted them. And they came up and took hold of His feet and worshiped Him." NASB leaves out "And as they went to tell his disciples." Matthew had just told of what happened at the sepulcher, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary were spoken to by an angel, and told that Jesus was risen, and to go tell His disciples, then as they went to tell the disciples, Jesus appeared to them. Why would their obedience to the command of the angel be left out?

Mark 7:8 KJV "For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do." NASB ""Neglecting the commandment of God, you hold to the tradition of men."" NASB leaves out the example of how they held to the traditions of men rather than the Word of God, as Catholic's do today.

Mark 7:16 KJV "If any man have ears to hear, let him hear." The NASB puts brackets around this verse and says that many manuscripts do not contain it. Jesus had been talking about those who by their traditions, which they exalt above the Word of God, make it of no effect, of no value to their lives.

Mark 9:44, 46 KJV "Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched." This is a reference to hell. NASB "<where THEIR WORM DOES NOT DIE, AND THE FIRE IS NOT QUENCHED.>" The NASB brackets these verses and tell you that many manuscripts do not contain them. As always, they are lying and the only manuscripts without them are the two Catholic manuscripts from Alexandria, Egypt that were used by Wescott and Hort to make their new Greek text to replace the "textus receptus" from which the KJV alone was translated.

Mark 9:49 KJV "For every one shall be salted with fire, and every sacrifice shall be salted with salt." NASB ""For everyone will be salted with fire." NASB leaves out "and every sacrifice shall be salted with salt." This is talking about spiritual refining. All of us have to go through the fire. 1 Peter 1:7 (KJV) "That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:" 1 Peter 4:12 (KJV) "Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:" Malachi 3:1-3 (KJV) "Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts. 2 But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner's fire, and like fullers' soap: 3 And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness."

Mark 10:21 KJV "Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me." NASB "And looking at him, Jesus felt a love for him, and said to him, "One thing you lack: go and sell all you possess, and give to the poor, and you shall have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me."" NASB leaves out "take up the cross," Taking up the cross, is taking the will of God, and denying your own will. The Catholic church only recognizes the will of the Pope. Your cross is where your will and the will of God come into conflict, and you must lay aside your will, and die to it, to take and do the will of God. That's Luke 9:23 (KJV) "And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me." The example of this is Jesus in the Garden, when He had to lay aside His will to do that of the Father. Matthew 26:39 (KJV) "And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt." You cannot be a Christian without doing the will of God for your life. 1 John 2:17 (KJV) "And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever." 1 Peter 4:1-2 (KJV) "Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin; 2 That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God." There are many verses on this subject.

Mark 12:30 KJV "And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment." NASB "AND YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND, AND WITH ALL YOUR STRENGTH.'" NASB leaves out "this is the first commandment." A Catholic's first love and loyalty is to his church and his Pope.

Luke 1:28 KJV "Hail, thou that art highly favored, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women." NASB says "Hail, favored one! The Lord is with you." This shows the corruption of the scriptures by the NASB.

Romans 10:15b KJV ". . .How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and being glad tidings of good things." NASB ". . . HOW BEAUTIFUL ARE THE FEET OF THOSE WHO BRING GLAD TIDINGS OF GOOD THINGS!"" NASB leaves out "preach the gospel of peace," and only refers to "glad tidings of good things." What good things? Without the gospel, there are no good tidings.

Romans 15:29b KJV "I shall come in the fullness of the blessing of the gospel of Christ." NASB "And I know that when I come to you, I will come in the fulness of the blessing of Christ." NASB leaves out "of the gospel."

Philippians 3:16 KJV "Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing." NASB "however, let us keep living by that same standard to which we have attained." NASB leaves out the last two phrases. They are an important part of the teaching of this portion of scripture.

1 Timothy 4:12 KJV ". .Be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity." NASB "Let no one look down on your youthfulness, but rather in speech, conduct, love, faith and purity, show yourself an example of those who believe." NASB leaves out "in spirit." Charity and love are the same from the Greek.

1 Timothy 6:5 KJV "Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself." NASB "and constant friction between men of depraved mind and deprived of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain." NASB leaves out "from such withdraw thyself," which has to do with our separation from such people. The Catholic church is responsible for the Ecumenical movement, which word they coined, which to them means "a return to Roman Catholicism." They do not believe in separation from the world. The Catholic Church compromises with all the other heathen ways, wherever they have gone. The Catholic Church has mixed with voodoo, with Santaria, and many other forms of spiritism, witchcraft and idol worship. You can be a Catholic and practice any form of idolatry, or witchcraft. You can be anything from a witch doctor practicing voodoo, or a fortuneteller, palm reader, necromancer, tarot card reader, crystal ball reader, etc. Most all such today are Catholics, as Jeanne Dixon. They practice all manner of witchcraft that God calls an abomination.

Hebrews 10:34 KJV "For ye had compassion on me in my bonds, and took joyfully the spoiling of your goods, knowing in yourselves that ye have in heaven a better and an enduring substance." NASB "For you showed sympathy to the prisoners, and accepted joyfully the seizure of your property, knowing that you have for yourselves a better possession and an abiding one." NASB leaves out "in heaven," making it earthly possessions and destroying the meaning of the verse. The Catholic church is the richest entity on the face of the earth, holding billions in property, stock, gold and cash.

1 Pet.4:14 KJV "If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part He is evil spoken of, but on your part He is glorified." NASB "If you are reviled for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you." NASB leaves out the last 15 words, changing the meaning or import of the passage.

2 Pet.2:17 KJV "These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever." NASB "These are springs without water, and mists driven by a storm, for whom the black darkness has been reserved." NASB leaves out "for ever." Catholic's are taught to believe that when they die, they go to purgatory; instead of heaven or hell, from which then you can escape, by the prayers of priests, offered after they are bought with the offerings of the living relatives. Your surviving relatives buy you out of purgatory, by paying for the priests to pray them out. It's one of the greatest sources of money of the Catholic Church. Poor Catholic who have been lied too, giving what little they have, and can't afford, in a false hope of making life easier for one who has died; when there is nothing you can do to help or hurt the one who is passed into eternity. It's simply and still: Hebrews 9:27 (KJV) "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:" Period. Then it's eternity either in the presence of Jesus or in the presence of Satan.

Rev.16:17 KJV "And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done." NASB "And the seventh angel poured out his bowl upon the air; and a loud voice came out of the temple from the throne, saying, "It is done."" NASB leaves out "of heaven." So where is this temple and throne of which this is speaking?

Rev.20:12 KJV "And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God. ..." NASB "And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged from the things which were written in the books, according to their deeds." NASB changes "God" to "the throne." Whose throne is it?

Rev.21:24 KJV "And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it:. ." NASB "And the nations shall walk by its light, and the kings of the earth shall bring their glory into it." NASB leaves out "of them which are saved." Everyone shall not have entrance into heaven and the kingdom of God. Christians do not believe in the "Fatherhood of God, and the brotherhood of man" as the Catholic Church teaches. That is a doctrine of devils. That is humanism and Ecumenicalism.
